In 2nd Timothy, Paul states, that in the last days perilous times shall come. What marks these days:
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof...
These traits can be said more of President Trump than any other president. This warning was given to Timothy of Christians in the last days. I believe we are in those last days.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
American evangelicals no longer discern what is true anymore. They no longer stand for what is good or even know what is good. They believe fables while accusing others of creating ‘fake news’. The Word of God is true, we are in the perilous times.
The Fallacy of a Trump Revival
Biblically, there is no Revival of American Greatness under the presidency of Donald Trump. Conservative-Evangelicals falsely believe that Trump is divinely ordained to bring the United States back to righteousness. This belief is based on misapplying the Bible by spiritually usurping God’s dealing with Israel, “God’s People,” and redirecting it to America.
I. America Is Not Israel
Israel alone is God’s literal nation. He gave them their laws and land. (Gen. 12:7) America is a Gentile Nation. Teaching that America is God's nation is a false teaching. Americans like to say, “One Nation Under God,” but we are spiritualizing the meaning. There is no such thing, scripturally, as a Christian nation. All forms of government are part of the “World System”. Our Constitution was written by some very smart men but is not inspired.
II. Americans Are Not God’s People
One of the most misapplied verses in the bible is II Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Those who are saved today collectively, are the Church or the Body of Christ. The Church is to be in the world, but not part of the world. The Body of Christ is commissioned to preach the Gospel, not create governments or expand territory by conquering the land. That is what ISIS believes in using the Muslim religion. The founding fathers had no mandate from God to take possession of the land and establish a new Nation.
III. The President Is Not A King
Some evangelicals use the fact that Trump is the 45 President of the United States and made a strange connection to Isaiah 45 in the Bible. First, we don’t anoint Presidents. Second, the chapters and verse numbers of the Bible are not inspired. They were added to make it easier to look up passages. Any teaching based on the chapter and verse numbers is unbiblical.
Presidents are just men elected by the people. Many of the people that voted for Trump probably are not saved Christians. Many Christian voted for Trump, but that doesn’t make him God’s ordained choice. Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

I Believe in the Constitution
When one says, "I believe in the Constitution,” what do they mean? Let me post what I mean when I say it.
1. I believe that Article I establishes the Congress as the lawmaking arm of the government. It is a co-equal branch with the executive and judicial branches. It consists of two bodies, the House and Senate.
The lower body is distributed by population and is elected every 2 years. It was design closely to reflect the will of the people.
The upper chamber, on the other hand, is more deliberative. It was designed to instill compromise. The terms of a Senator is 6 years and overlaps with other Senators so that cooperation and bi-partisanship can be built. All states have an equal voice regardless of size, population or economy.
2. The Executive branch is not the first branch established. The President is the chief executive and Commander-in-Chief. Members of the cabinet nominated by the President, are approved by the Senate and serve the people, not the President. This branch has no law making authority. It is not free from checks and balances and is not above the law.
3. The Supreme Court is the final interpreter of the Constitution. It is not supposed to be partisan. The Justices must be independent and willing to put aside ideology. Their appointment to life terms was meant to keep them from political pressure. Justices are nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate by a non-partisan majority.
We need to return to these ideas if our Constitution is to perform as designed.

Why We Celebrate Thanksgiving
Immigrant fleeing persecution in their homeland, put their lives endanger along with their children, to go to a new land in hopes of a better life. They traveled a great distance, not sure of what laid in store in a new country, called America. When they arrived, the Americans living there, gave them what little they had and help them survive. Those Native Americans, did not push them back in the ocean but received them with open arms. That was almost 400 years ago. The refugees were the Pilgrims and that is why we celebrate Thanksgiving.
